WHVP Whatcom Historic Views and Places

Using historic records and accounts whvp seeks to discover enduring places, landscapes and resource use traditions of Whatcom County, the Straits Country & watersheds of the Salish Sea. whvp’s primary emphasis involves creating and presenting then-and-now blended images and accounts of the area around Mt. Baker, between the Skagit & Fraser Rivers and the confluence of the Straits of Georgia and Juan de Fuca. whvp presents landscape and site studies created and noted by Tim Wahl of Bellingham, Washington, USA using historic records and the accounts of pre- and post-colonial people.
